Leoti's St. Anthony Church Goes Through Major Renovation

Just a few minutes ago, I FINALLY got on the internet. A lady who reads my blog had read my posting about various renovations being done throughout Leoti. She sent me this which I found to be quite interesting so I wanted to pass the information on to all of you. The church looks BEAUTIFUL!!! I don't think that I have ever seen it looking this good!

Lynn, That was a nice article on your blog about the town remodelling, and so very true, lots of improvements helping keep Leoti updated. However, have you been by St. Anthony's church recently? We just finished a major refurbishing, using the stucco that you mentioned. Arturo Ayala gets the credit for that, and he's done probably all the other stucco work around town. Our parish council started looking at how to repair the old blue tile St. Anthony art work, and one thing led to another. Due to years of leaking, it was decided a major restructuring was required;thus we ended up, on professional advice, removing all the tile and having new walls built and stucco'ed. Looking for a new symbol for the church took time, and after many consultations with professional artists and religious art sales companies, we searched near home and talked to Double C powdercoating. They created the IHS design to give the re-do a final touch! We have received many compliments on the new, updated look.
