Un-nerving situation

Earlier this week, a man in Leoti received a phone call on his cellphone. Though he did not recognize the phone number that was "supposedly" coming from a home phone number in Leoti, he answered it just as most people would do. Once he answered it, an elderly woman's voice began spewing very rough language at him. She harrassed him by telling him to never call her at home, etc. again. This man kept trying to explain to her that he had not called her, etc., etc., etc.

After he had finally hung up from this harsh woman, he called his wife and told her what had just happened. He relayed the caller's telephone number to her so that she could find out who the caller was. Once she knew who the local woman was, she called the family of her. The couple was not angry with the woman. They were concerned that she might be having some kind of a health problem or medicinal issue so they called the woman's family member in Leoti. The family was shocked to hear of this incident and could not understand what had happened so the wife called a family member Their loved one is quite healthy.

Eventually, it turned out to be a bit of a hoax. One of the man's co-employees had come across this computer program with the woman's recorded message. He decided to send it to his friend's cellphone number. Once it is sent, the database of local phone numbers is called up. One of those unlucky phone numbers was then sent to the recipient's cellphone number which made it look like the harsh call had come from that phone number...

Anyway, I just want you to know that this computer program is basically available to anyone and everyone. If you receive a phone call like this, you may have just been hoaxed.

Anyway, this was just some information that I thought that you needed to be aware of. It can happen to anyone--including YOU!
