Jerry L. John, age 65, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at the Homestead Health & Rehabilitation Center in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on February 11, 1946 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Robert E. and Mary L. Higgins John. A lifetime resident of Garden City he was the owner and operator of Johns Motor in Garden City, Kansas and was a Sergeant in the US Army Reserves.
On August 18, 1968 he married Patricia L. Collins in Garden City, Kansas. She died November 12, 2001 in Garden City, Kansas.
Survivors Include: Two Daughters, Kimberly Nading of Garden City, Kansas and Kristi John of Garden City, Kansas; One Brother, Jimmy L. John of Garden City, Kansas and Three Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Karen John & a brother, Keith John.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
There will be no public calling times.
Inurnment will be held at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the American Red Cross in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
