Stella P. Brack, age 88, passed away at the Wichita County Hospital in Leoti, Kansas on Wednesday, October 19, 2011. She was born on October 24, 1922 in Stanford, Kentucky, the daughter of James Henry and Vada Wilson Leigh Daugherty. A resident of Leoti, Kansas since 1943 moving from Stanford, Kentucky, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leoti, Kansas. She was a past member of the Lydia Homemakers EHU, Sacred Red Hat Society, Gold Star Mother, Ladies VFW Auxiliary #6752 and was a 4-H Leader.
On April 30, 1943 she married Harry H. Brack in Danville, Kentucky. He passed away on May 10, 1990 in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors include her Two Daughters - Mona & Danny Spangler of Scott City, Kansas, Terri & Mark Heath of Leoti, Kansas, One Sister - Rachael Tillett of California, Kentucky, Five Grandchildren and Three Great Grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, One Son – Harry Brack Jr. who was killed in Vietnam in 1971, Two Brothers and Five Sisters.
Funeral Services First Baptist Church in Leoti, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2011 with Don Williams presiding.
Interment will be in the Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church of Leoti EMT’s % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.
