Finland's Answer to Bullying

Since school began, I am sure that bullying has been a fact of everyday school life. As time has passed, it has become worse, and as we now know, it can also be deadly. Turn your radio or television on and chances are, you'll hear something about the latest bullying tragedy. I just learned that the country of Finland has developed a program that is turning their schools around for the better. Now, the University of Kansas is putting steps into motion to implement it in Kansas schools in the 2012-2013 school year. For more information, please go to

Then in the search box, type in "Finnish of American Bullies".

I did not misspell Finnish (Finland).

Lets hope that this new program is the answer to ridding our schools of bullies.
