SCOTT CITY — Cristal Dawn (Harkness) McHone, 50, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at her home in Springfield, Mo.
She was born July 7, 1961, in Scott City, to Rex. D. Harkness and Wanda Jo Thatcher.

She is survived by three sons, Dale Betzold and his wife, Carla, of Holcomb, Marcus Betzold and his wife, Heather, and their two children, Zane Lucas and Zerrick Layne, of LaCrosse, and Matthew Betzold of Hutchinson; a daughter, Katherine Betzold and her two children, Kiari Jo and Parker Wayne, of Nixia, Mo.; her siblings, Elizabeth Jane Kennington of San Diego, Lori Harkness of Scott City, Randy Harkness of Hooker, Okla., Lloyd Thatcher of Las Vegas, and Teresa Stafford of Reno, Nev.; her mother, Wanda Jo Thatcher of Springfield and San Diego; and her stepmother, Wanda D. Harkness of Scott City. She was preceded in death by her children's father, Mark Betzold; her husband, Donald McHone; her father, Rex D. Harkness; and her stepfather, Bud Thatcher.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Golden Avenue Baptist Church, 558 S. Golden Ave., Springfield, MO 65802.
