Jeannie Haines, 79, passed away at the Greeley County Medical Center on Thursday, September 24, 2009. Visitation will be from 5-8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Price and Sons Funeral Home in Leoti. Her funeral will be at 2:00 cst on SUNDAY, September 27th, at the First Baptist Church in Leoti. Burial will be in the Leoti Cemetary.
Jeannie married Robert "Bobby" Haines on February 12th, 1950. He died on March 29th,1989. She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for Western Lumber in Leoti for many years.
She is survived by two sons: Dwight and Kimba of Diamond, Mo., and Terry and Donna (Titus) of Leoti. Her two daughters include Becky and Kenneth Glover of Gunnison, Co. and Tammy Haines of Garden City, Ks. She also had 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Vera Rodrock-Mays of Eureka Springs, Arkansas is her sister.
The family would appreciate your donations in Jeannie's name be given to the Wichita County Museum of the Great Plains in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home of Leoti.
