Former Leoti Artist

As you know, our family has been spending a considerable amount of time at Hays Medical Center lately. HMC lines the hallway walls with large pictures that they have either purchased or have had donated to them. These pictures were painted by area artists. I can appreciate all of them even if they are not exactly a style that I would have purchased for my own home.

Earlier this week, Grandma, Mama and I were on our way to Lori's room when we saw a picture of three sad-faced clowns. The painting is exquisite and really captures your attention for a considerable amount of time. We went to the lower right hand corner to see who the artist was. It was none other than Leoti's late resident, Connie Naiman, who passed away several years ago.

So, if you are ever at HMC and are looking for something to do, (LOL), check out the 2nd floor. You should find this piece of artwork hanging there.

  2. Honestly, I don't remember when they passed away. I will talk to people who were friends of theirs. Once I know, I will let you know. Thank you!!! VLE-B
