YAY!!! School has been called off in Leoti because of snow. According to the Weather Center out of Goodland, we should expect 4-6 inches of snow and strong winds which will cause blowing and drifting. That is fine with me!!! We were very fortunate and did not receive the ice that was expected before the snow would start falling. We have been so VERY dry out here, I doubt if many people are complaining.

ReplyDeleteWe dodged the snow - and only got rain - which is melting the huge snow piles pretty quickly here.
I admit that I am in the minority. I LOVE getting snow!!! But once the storm is over, I am ready for it to melt! LOL!!! My parents always made snow days a lot of fun for my two sisters and I. I just carried that on to our three children. They love snow too. To this day, our son, Adam, who is now 31, gets all excited as soon as he sees the snow flying. Lol!
