It is just about that time of the year again. As you know, our days are getting longer. That means that people who live in our neck of the woods spend much more time working outdoors doing farm and ranch work, yardwork, gardening, etc. To compensate, Tribune's Star Theatre will not run movies as early as we have become accustomed to. Starting on Saturday, May 21st, the movies will start at 8:30 CST. This new time will remain in effect until Fall when it will drop to the earlier time schedule again. For the next several weekends, the movies will continue to start at 7:30 CST.
There will be NO movies on Sunday, April 24th, which is Easter, and Saturday, May 7th, because the Eternity Focus Christian Concert will be held at the Greeley County School that evening.
Our family wants to thank everybody who works to keep the theatre open in Tribune! Christy Hopkins and Catherine McCann do an outstanding job of all that it takes to keep everything running smoothly. More and more, I hear from people on how much they love the theatre in Tribune. If you have not been there lately, PLEASE go and check it out! During the past couple of years, A LOT of restoration and updating has been done on the exterior and interior of the building. I think that you will be quite impressed with what you will see... Our family is proud to take our turns in hosting the movies. It is great to know that we can give a little bit back to the place where we have enjoyed so many movies throughout the years.
