Moving Day is Near

For over a year, Wichita Countians added another way to spend time to their list--watching as the new grade school was built and renovations were done to the former Junior High building. Very little is left to be done now. Next month, the community is asked to join the school's representatives to move boxes, furniture, etc across town to the new building. Those days will begin right after the last day of school.

In the meantime, teachers are wanting to start packing various materials, etc that they will no longer need until next year. Finding enough boxes has been difficult. Dr. Hardy delivered 26 boxes to the grade school this afternoon and I delivered some boxes that were donated by Seaboard Foods in Leoti. Before long, those boxes will be full and more boxes will be needed. I asked Dr. Hardy if it was okay with him if I asked for your assistance in this matter. He was happy to allow me to do that!

So, if you have any clean boxes that are in good repair, you can take them to the grade school office. Once there, Bev will ask teachers who need them to come and pick them up. Bring 1...2...3...boxes--however many you have to offer. Each and every one of them will be appreciated!

If you have any questions on this matter, please call the school at 375.2314.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!
