Turning Junk Into Treasure

Thank you, O, for sending this to me!!! I am sure that many others out there will enjoy going to this website and taking a look around...

Whether we want to admit it or not, we all have junk just lying around somewhere. In today's age, we are learning the three "Rs"--RE-duce, RE-use, RE-cycle. I, for one, really enjoy finding other things to do with our junk than just tossing it into the nearest landfill. If we don't use something anymore, we do our best to pass it to someone who can use it.

Here's a website for us to go through. It is just amazing at all of the projects that can be done with old windows, house doors, cabinet doors, lamps, spindles, scraps of wood and trim, shutters, picture frames, china, old suitcases, tin, benches, yard art, etc. If you see something that you would like to do but don't have the necessary "junk", check out garage sales, flea markets, etc.

Build furniture out of old suitcases, windows--with or without the glass, old headboards..............

Be creative. Get inspired.
