I need advice...

In the Spring, we bought a new dishwasher with all of the up-to-the minute cycles, etc. The only thing that it can't do, is load and unload itself. So very sad...

The problem is that it cleans perfectly but it leaves the dishes with that milky coating fairly often. Yuk!!! I always make sure that the water is as hot as I can get it before I turn the dishwasher on. I even use the extra hot water cycle that we have. I use Jet-Dry. I also use name-brand dishwasher soap gel-packs. I never use powder. I have even cleaned the machine with the dishwasher cleaners. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?????????????? I would welcome any and all advice.

Signed,

Tired of re-washing clean dishes in Leoti, Ks.

  1. Lynn,
Our son says he uses about 1/2 vineagar in his every load. They have fought this ever since they moved to town. I think alot has to do with the water on your side of town. That may not make since.

  2. The hardware sells a product called Lemon Shine that you can put in the dishwasher with the soap that should take care of that problem.

I have the same trouble. I think it's the water. I've used the Lemi Shine and I think it helps some. It's sure a problem. I think the vinegar might really help
