My mother, Donna Lou Elder, has been teaching school for over 50 years now. She has always been an awesome teacher whom her students love. She has always enjoyed teaching them the story of MR. POPPER'S PENGUINS. I mentioned that Tribune's Star Theatre will be showing it for Tribune's Christmas Open House on Monday evening. My mom told me that she had never had the opportunity to see the movie. I did not know if adults were allowed to attend this special viewing so I contacted board members. Soon, I learned that E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E, irregardless of age, is very welcome. That is just another of the many things that I love about the people who take care of this amazing theatre!
There is NO ticket charge for anyone who attends the Christmas Open Houses in Tribune.
