Elizabeth Marlene Turley--Leoti

(July 28, 1963 - November 9, 2011)

Elizabeth Marlene Turley, age 48, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas. Elizabeth was born July 28, 1963 at AFB Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Germany, the daughter of Albert & Elizabeth Haulk Baldwin. A resident of Leoti, Kansas since 2000, she was a homemaker and had studied to be a nurse.

Elizabeth was a member of Christ Covenant Church and the VFW Auxiliary, both of Leoti, Kansas.

She previously married James Hubbard. He passed away in January of 2000. On March 23, 2000 she married David Lee Turley at Scott City, Kansas.

Elizabeth’s surviving family includes- Her Husband- David Lee Turley- Leoti, Kansas One Son- Arthur Turley- Scott City, Kansas Five Daughters- Tara Turley- Columbus, Ohio Wendy Soto- Scott City, Kansas Brandy Turley- Scott City, Kansas Cynthia Turley- Camp Lejeune, North Carolina Christina Turley- Leoti, Kansas Twelve grandchildren Her parents, and three brothers predeceased her.

At her request, Elizabeth’s body was donated to science.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, November 14, 2011 at Christ Covenant Church in Leoti, Kansas with the Reverend Bob Everest officiating.

There will be no calling times.

Memorials may be given to the Elizabeth Turley Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.
