This week's movie at the Star Theatre will be PUSS IN BOOTS which is described as Kids/Family, Action/Adventure, Animation, Comedy and Science Fiction/Fantasy. It is rated PG for some adventure action and mild rude humor. This was released to the public on October 28th, 2011. The stars behind the voices include Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis, Billy Bob Thornton and Amy Sedaris.
Synopsis: The movie series of SHREK reminded us, adults, about the character, Puss in Boots. He is known for his outlaw fighting and loving. He goes from being an outlaw to being a hero when his life becomes entangled with the tough and street smart, Kitty Softpaws. Humpty Dumpty asks the duo to help him as he masterminds their efforts to save Humpty Dumpty's town...
Each movie will be shown at 7:30 CST on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 25th, 26th and 27th. Given the fact that this is Thanksgiving Weekend, you just might happen to have some out-of-town guests who would love getting to check out the fine renovation of the theatre in Tribune.
Adults, 13 and older: $5.00
Children, 4 through 12: $4.00
Babies through 3-years-old: F-R-E-E
Refreshments are always very reasonably priced also.
Don't forget that the evening of Monday, November 28th, is Christmas Open House in Tribune. To celebrate, the theatre will be showing MR. POPPER'S PENGUINS. There will be NO CHARGE for anyone who wants to watch the movie that night.
