A Wonderful Evening

We just got home from Tribune, or should I say a beautiful Christmas Village, a little while ago. The four of us took Grandma and a friend of Abigayle's to watch MR. POPPER'S PENGUINS. The fine folks at the Star Theatre allowed anyone who wanted to watch the movie to watch it completely free-of-charge! Each person was also given a bag of free popcorn and a cup of free soda pop! This was our first time to watch this particular movie and we loved every single second of it. Wouldn't it be great if more heartwarming movies like this were made much more often? There was absolutely not one thing that any person should have been offended by in this show. If you have not already seen this soon-to-be Jim Carrey classic, please make it a point to watch it soon. Our family would just like to thank Christy Hopkins and all of her friends who provided such a wonderful evening for all who attended tonight's movie!

Tribune was beautiful! Christmas lights seemed to be everywhere. It was difficult to find a parking place because so many people had come out to take in this dazzling event. And, yes, Cinderella's horsedrawn coach was at the Christmas Open House tonight! Something tells me that it will magically appear at Leoti's Christmas Open House tomorrow (Tuesday) evening!

Don't forget that the evening will start out with a Christmas Parade on Main Street. Most of Leoti's stores will be open and offering specials on their merchandise. A lot of them will also be offering some Christmas refreshments!

See you at the Open House!!!
