Earthquake in Leoti???

Yeppers! We had earthquake tremors here. Our earth quaked last night. And, NO, I did not fall out of bed to cause it. LOL!!! I don't know exactly where it happened or how big the area it was that was affected. We had just gone to bed and Stan was snoring away. I was still watching one of my shows on HGTV when, all of a sudden, I felt a bit of a jolt then our glass vases on our dresser began jiggling and making noises. My first response was that I must have overloaded the washing machine just before I called it a day. Normally we do not feel any movement in the house when we are doing laundry. After a very short time, all went back to normal.

Today, I received an email from a good friend of mine who lives in Pratt. She asked me if I had noticed it. She had not but her daughter did feel it.

To my knowledge no serious damage was done. The closest fault line that I am aware of is underneath a dam in Manhattan, Kansas. I am ASSUMING that that may have been the center point for this event.
