For generations, the theatre in Tribune has been a family favorite for many people. Nothing has changed. People from several counties enjoy going to the movies there. The prices are very fair for both, the tickets and the refreshments. The theatre is clean and safe. The new seats are very comfortable for even the heaviest of us. So many of us have been so impressed with the major renovations and restorations that the people of Greeley County have put into motion.

As I have said before, this theatre has ALWAYS been my favorite. I have many fond memories of this place. But until 2 weeks ago, I had not appreciated it as much as I should have. Most of us have access to much larger theatres in areas where we live. The admission and refreshment prices are usually much higher than the Star's. Even worse, i was told by an ex-employee of one of these larger theatres that many people under the influence of alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs, go to the theatre for the evening productions. Not only do some of those people make the rest of the viewers' enjoyment less than it should have been, but some of those individuals actually vomit on other guests, seats and floors. More often than not, the theatre employees never know that anyone has been ill until late in the night when they go to clean up. To me, that makes our Star Theatre just that much more precious.
