More than 2 weeks ago, I became VERY sick with something that included such symptoms such as having an on and off fever, horrible headache, chest and sinus congestion, sore throat, extreme fatigue, sneezing... Of course, I began taking over-the-counter cold medication just as soon as the first symptoms began. That did very little good. Every day was worse than the day before had been. I literally spent almost a full week in bed! Anyone who knows me knows that it takes a lot to get me that far down and to keep me down like this did.

A week ago yesterday, I finally gave up and went to see my doctor. He told me that there was no way that I would get better without prescription drugs. I was given a prescription for an antibiotic and 4 days worth of steroids. He also told me to continue to take my Muccinex with cough formula. (The cough was TERRIBLE!) By the 3rd day, I was beginning to feel better. The cough was still not good. My asthma was all messed up. I had been needing my rescue inhaler several times a day. I returned back to the clinic last Friday. I was given another week's worth of steroids. Today, I am MUCH better! I will take the last steroid tomorrow morning. My antibiotics will also be gone tomorrow. I still have a slight cough and some ear pain. Until they are gone, I will continue taking the Muccinex.

Many people around here are sick with this junk. I just want you to know that if you have been sufferering with this for more than a couple of days, you may need to see your doctor. In my case, I knew better than to keep plugging away with this before going to the doctor. My heart condition could have really become more dangerous. So if you have been sick with this, please go see your doctor before it gets any worse.
