The girls and I have decided to have a vacation this week. We plan on getting out and trying different things during the day but will be home in time for dinner with Stan!
At the top of the week's agenda, we are planning on having picnic lunches, take a few drives down Devil's Dip (north of Leoti), see if we can locate the old farmstead where my grandparents, Roy and Helen (Graham) Elder, born and raised some of their children. We also want to see what, if anything, remains of Elder City in Southern Wichita County. If you have any other ideas of interesting things to do in our area, PLEASE let us know!
I plan on updating you on each day's festivities in the evenings this week.
