For someone like me who has spent her entire life of 49 years in Western Kansas, you would think that I would be used to wind. For the most part, I guess I am used to it. But this year has been just so dreadfully windy that it is actually starting to depress me and others out there. We are trying to get our front yard's grass thickened up. Fighting the wind to keep it moist enough is practically a losing battle.
