1 cup sour cream
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
a pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
just enough flour to make the dough sticky
Mix everything together.
Sprinkle flour on a cutting board or counter. Roll dough on it until fairly thin. Use Thanksgiving or Christmas cookie cutters to form your cookies. Place on cookie sheet sprayed with PAM.
Sprinkle cookies with colored sugar or other edible decoration. If you prefer frosting, skip this step. Wait until cookies have cooled off completely. You can then frost them any way you want to.
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes.
