I just received a phone call from a citizen of Leoti. She told me that there is a major water emergency with our newest water main in town. Our family noticed yesterday that two City of Leoti employees were busily trying to repair something on Broadway just northeast of K-Store. Work is continuing to solve the problem. As far as I know, there is no shortage of water getting to homes or businesses. If I find out something else, I will report it here.

Wow. If there is not shortage of water, how can it be reported as an emergency?
ReplyDeleteDear Stupid,
ReplyDeleteHave you not heard that there is a definite water shortage in much of Kansas, etc? Whenever there is a water leak, it needs to be taken care of NOW--not later. I THOUGHT that you would understand that as far as I knew, no one was having to do without water at their homes or businesses.
Do me a great favor... Stop reading my blog. You're not welcome here.

Dear Wow,
ReplyDeleteAny malfunctions having to do with a utility is an emergency! It may not affect you personally, but left unattented, it can do alot of damage! See how fast you dial for help when your electricity goes out or you gas service is interrupted! You'll thank the workers for their prompt attention no matter what time of the day/night it is or what holiday it could be that they are not home with their family! Think about it before you are so quick to be a smartass!
THANK YOU to the last commenter!!! You hit it right on the barrel head! Surely by now, the knucklehead who THOUGHT that he or she was so intelligent knows otherwise by now. LOL!!! VLE-B
