I just had the opportunity to be walking on Main Street today when I smelled something very sweet. I took a look around to see what I was smelling. It wasn't any flowers in the planters. Then, I noticed the trees that are planted next to the sidewalks. That's what it was! I cannot tell you what kind of trees those are but whatever they are, they are in full-bloom! To me, the blossoms resemble yellow honeysuckles. I don't know how long they'll be blooming so you might want to smell them soon!
While we are on the subject of the flower planters and trees on Main Street sidewalks in the business district, I want to make the comment that I, for one, really enjoy them! I also like the decorative light poles there! They all serve to make Leoti a nicer place to live.
