He'll be all over Leoti this weekend!
To meet him, everyone is invited to the new city park in Leoti at 5:00 CST on Friday, June 18th for a free barbeque. If you want to, you can bring food and/or drinks to share with everyone there. The meat will be provided along with potato salad, deviled eggs and 2 cakes. You are NOT required to bring food. Just come, learn and have fun!
Then on Saturday from 11:00 to 2:00, everyone is invited to Route 96 to their banquet room for lunch. You will be responsible for paying for your own lunch.
Several years ago, people organized a group of people to help "spend money" throughout the world. Contrary to popular opinion, this is NOT illegal. Those people write information on the dollar bills that includes the website. As of now, there are at least $1,975,000 dollars marked. There are 48,931 participants. At least 30 of those individuals will be coming to Leoti on Friday to keep things moving right along. They will be staying at Hi Plains Motel. Some of their money that has been marked will be spent there. More will be spent at Route 96. Those people are from all over the U.S.
Kansas is home to at least 1,892 participants. David Turley of Leoti is number 3. David is hoping that this event will become a yearly tradition in Leoti.
