Alta Mae Yardley--Leoti and Scott City

Alta Mae Yardley was born in Wichita County to Walter A. and Gladys M. Lehman Wood on May 16th of 1924. She passed away on Monday, April 12th, at Homestead Health and Rehabilitation Center in Garden City, Ks. She was 85.

Mrs. Yardley married Kenneth R. Yardley on August 22nd of 1948 in Wichita County. He passed away on August 14th of 1983 in Scott City.

She is survived by two daughters--Kay Davis of Garden City and Aleta Boller of Wichita, Kansas and 2 sisters, Vera MacArthur of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Emogene Harp of Scott City, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 on Saturday, April 17th, at the First Christian Church in Scott City.

Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church in Scott City in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home.
