We have landline phones in our bedrooms, dining room and living room. For the most part, we have good service except for in our daughters' bedroom. Their phone line is always staticy. It is so bad that they can hardly understand a word. Today, I spoke with our phone company about this issue. She told me that people who have wireless internet in their homes like we do, sometimes have problems with static. When that happens, you need to comtact your phone service provider and tell them about it. They will then send out a pigtail-like thing that you will very easily attach to the phone line in the room with the problem. This thing is a filter. Once it has been hooked up, the phone should be clear and static-free.
Anyway, something that I thought that you might need to know someday...
