I think that many people in Kansas were a bit concerned about the weather yesterday after the Weather Channel had sent people to our Sunflower State in order to "hunt" tornados. The good news is that I never heard of any actual warnings--at least not in Western Kansas.
The winds that we had were very destructive in our portion of the state. Clean up began late yesterday afternoon. In many cases, work will continue for quite some time.
Thank you to any and all of you who prayed for our state yesterday! We have experienced some awful tornadic activity already this year and researchers are predicting one of the worst seasons EVER for tornadoes in Kansas, etc. We all need to be praying...
