Colds and Flu

Right now, it seems like everywhere you go in our part of the world, you find people who are complaining of colds or seasonal flu. Some of these people end up having to go to doctors to get help because their viruses turn into sinus and ear infections, etc. Just miserable...

Here at the Blaus House, we have been and are fighting these blasted colds. I just want to let you know that we are doing much better because we are using Muccinex with Cough Formula Tablets (Dollar Generals' store brand of this is what we usually use) and Coricidan HBP for colds and flu. The HBP is for people with high blood pressure. We use it here even though we do not have blood pressure problems. I have also been told that doctors around the nation are also recommending these two medications for their patients. Neither of these medicines require prescriptions.

So far, I am the only one in our family who has not been hit hard with this junk. A couple of days, I had the sniffles and sneezes. I immediately began using these medicines and the colds went right away.

Something else that you might want to try is the spiced tea that I posted it's recipe here. The girls and one of our dearest friends were all very sick. They all drank this tea and felt that it really helped them!

And don't forget to grease up the bottoms of your feet with Vicks Mentholatum!!! Within just a few minutes, your congestion in your chest and nose will lesson tremendously!!!
