L. Alberta Mick, age 72, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on December 16, 1937 in Colby, Kansas, the daughter of Marion L. and Eva A Yeo Jefferies. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1980 moving from Brewster, Kansas, she worked for J.F. Beaver Advertising.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Atwood, Kansas.


On August 10, 1980 she married David B. Mick in Oakley, Kansas. He survives.


Survivors Include:her Husband - David B. Mick of Scott City, Kansas, One Son - Earl Shannon of Bird City, Kansas, One Sister - Bonnie Evans of Scott City, Kansas, Three Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her Parents, One Sister – Marian Elaine Gallen and One Granddaughter – Brooke Isenbart.
