Richard Holland was born on June 4th, 1910 in Hutchinson, Kansas. He passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 1st, of 2010. He was 90. He was a resident of Wichita County since the late 1940s. Mr. Holland was a farmer and cattleman.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Marienthal, Ks.
Mr. Holland married Nellie "Toby" Winfrey. She died on May 15th, 2006 in Garden City, Kansas.
Survivors include one brother; John Holland, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one sister; Monica Dick, of Hutchinson, Kansas, 2 sisters-in-law; Ruby Bell Gleason, of Perry, Oklahoma and Ruth Holland of Garden City, Kansas, a cousin, Loraine Ford of Santa Maria, California.
His memorial mass will be held at 10:30 on Tuesday, December 7th, at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Marienthal, Ks. with the Father Benjamin Martin presiding. There will be no public calling times.
Inurnment will be at 2:30 on Tuesday on the family farm in Wichita County, Kansas.
