Irish Cabbage Stew in Your Crockpot

1 head cabbage, quartered

1 small bag of baby carrots

3 stalks celery, cut into 1 inch pieces

2 onions, quartered

Ham chunks

Peas

Green beans

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped

1 quart chicken or vegetable broth


Add cabbage, carrots, celery, onions and ham to crockpot. Sprinkle salt, pepper and parsley on top. Pour broth over stew and set on HIGH for 4 hours or on LOW for 8 hours. During the last hour, add the peas and green beans. Serve with crusty bread.
