Wednesday's Report

Work continues on our main bathroom. Anyone who knows me, knows that I have V-E-R-Y little patience whenever we are working on a renovation, etc at our home. I am always excited to get it started but once it is started, I cannot wait to get it finished. Of course, I have to wait anyway. LOL!

Stan just has a corner left that needs the new flooring. It will be done very soon. As soon as the corner is covered, we can install the soaking tub again. It has to go in next so that we will know exactly where we need to start laying the Allure. Once the Allure is all laid, the stool-it and sink vanity will be re-introduced to the bathroom. None of that will happen too soon for us!!! We've grown tired of all of the bathroom fixtures being stored in the dining room...

Yesterday, a nasty smell began to overrun the house. By last night, it was worse than ever. Stan suspects that the sewer line from the bathroom may be disconnected underneath the house. He is going under the house as we speak to take a look around. Lucky him!!! Chris and Peter sent us the best air fresheners that you connect to your electrical outlets a couple of weeks ago. They continuously send out a g-r-e-a-t scent unlike the regular things that smell good as soon as you plug them in but lose their effectiveness soon after. We also use Scentsy. The smell has completely covered their fragrances also. Hopefully, Danley will have the problem fixed sooner than later...

We have decorated our home with various shades of red for years now. But when we picked out our Allure, Danley and the girls fell in love with a pattern that includes shades of blue. I know, I know... A house is supposed to be decorated with the same continuous color. Since they all loved the blue, there was no way that I was going to insist on the reddish color. Now I need to find some pretty blue towels for the areas around the sink and soaking tub. If you have an idea where I can find them, please let me know.

Wish us well, please.
