Chris Martenson, PhD, scientist, economic researcher and futurist, has been reporting on the continued devastation in Japan since the earthquake and tsunami struck three weeks ago. Today, Martenson has acquired and released the first new photos from inside the Fukushima reactors since March 24.
This most recent satellite photo, combined with other recent data, lead Martenson to conclude:
* The situation on the ground is still not stabilized.
* At current scope and resources of the response effort, it will take weeks to months before TEPCO is in real control of the situation.
* The after-effects will be measured in years.
