Julia versus Julie

Quite some time ago, the hit movie JULIE AND JULIA made it's way through he theatres in America. Though I have always been a big fan of Meryl Streep, I must admit that I was not that interested in seeing this particular movie. But, sometimes kids can talk their parents into everything. That is exactly what happened at the Blaus House.

Several months ago, we subscribed to NETFLIX. I mentioned it here many posts ago. It is an amazing system that you can have in your home for less than $10.00 a month. You must have the internet and a major video game such as WII and Playstation in order to purchase it. Once you have NETFLIX, you can pick MANY movies to watch right here in the coziness of your own home.

So, anyway, I made my trip to Tribune and returned back home. Once here, the girls told me that they thought that it would be wonderful if we all sat down to watch JULIE AND JULIA. We all gathered a drink and some snacks that Stan and the girls had purchased at the Mexican Store, found our seats and began watching this delightful movie. If you have not already viewed this movie, I would like to suggest that you watch it sometime.

Don't worry, I am not going to go into great detail about this movie and ruin the entire story for you. But, Julie and I have something in common. We both have found the great joy of blogging on a daily basis. I share in the same joy as Julie does whenever she discovers that someone has actually commented on one of her posts! OH, MY GOODNESS!!! Unless you are a blogger, yourself, you probably have no idea just what an awesome feeling that is--even when the commenter says something AGAINST you and/or your writings. LOL!!!

I also discovered that I am not the only person out there who seeks acceptance from others--both frends and relatives as well as total strangers--through their blog. I just want you to know that I greatly enjoy our little "talks" right here! Maybe I say something that you do not agree with. Maybe you do like what I write. No matter what, just know that I so appreciate hearing from you in either case!

Eventually, Julie's blog became more and more popular until finally, publicists throughout the country came forward to purchase her blog. Today, she is a professional writer. I am going to try to find some books of hers. If I find some, I will post their titles right here!
