Curtis Ray Nicholson--Garden City

Curtis Ray Nicholson, age 48, died Monday, October 11, 2010, at the Via Christi Hospital, St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas from injuries sustained in a work related accident last week in Garden City. Curtis was born November 20, 1961 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Harry and Joan Minkler Nicholson. He was a shop foreman for Darling International and had been a lifetime Garden City resident.

He was a member of the Garden City Church of the Nazarene.

On August 16, 1980 he married Sandra Reed in Garden City, Kansas. She survives.

Other survivors include: One Son, Brian A. Nicholson of the home; One Daughter, Tina (& Travis) Brungardt of Holcomb, Kansas; Two Brothers, Gary Nicholson of Garden City, Kansas and Doug Nicholson of Garden City, Kansas; One Sister, Debra Pope of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Mother-In-Law, Doris J. Reed of Scott City, Kansas; Two Granddaughters, Madison & Alexandria Brungardt of Holcomb, Kansas and Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 15, 2010 at the Church Of The Nazarene in Garden City with Rev. Tim Fields presiding.

Interment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.

Friends may call from 10:00am-5:00pm Thursday @ the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.

Memorials may be given to the Curtis Nicholson Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
