All-American Snack (CROCKPOT)

Makes 3 quarts.

3 cups thin pretzel sticks

4 cups wheat Chex Cereal

4 cups Cheerios

12 ounce can of salted peanuts

1/4 cup MELTED butter or margarine

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon celery salt (optional)

1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt (optional)

2 tablespoons grated or shredded Parmesan Cheese

Place all pretzels, cereal and peanuts in a large bowl. Mix them up.

In a saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in the garlic powder, celery salt, seasoned salt and Parmesan Cheese. Mix well.

Dump the pretzel-cereal mix into your crockpot. Pour the butter-spice mixture over all of it. Toss together until well mixed.
Cover the crockpot. Cook on LOW for 2 1/2 hours, stirring every half hour. After 2 1/2 hours, remove the lid and cook for another 30 minutes.

Serve warm straight from the pot or pour it into a tightly covered container.
