I just received a phone call about the highway between Leoti and Lakin. A vehicle towing a small U-Haul trailer has gone off of the highway and ended up in the ditch. A vehicle was in front of that one and saw the accident occur. That driver could not get stopped so that he could help so he did the next best thing, he called the Kearney County Sheriff's Department and advised them of this occurence. Help is on it's way now.
Again, I recommend that if you do not need to be out there on the roads and highways, stay put!
