Lawrence “Larry” E. Bloesser, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at the Greeley County Hospital in Tribune, Kansas. He was born on May 25, 1935 in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, the son of Lawrence and Sylvia Brown Bloesser. A resident of Tribune, Kansas since 1948 moving from Kingman, Kansas, he was a Service Station Manager for Farmco Coop. He was a US Army Reserve Veteran.
He was an avid fisherman, collector, nature lover and enjoyed his morning coffee group.
On June 20, 1959 he married Carol Monroe in Tribune, Kansas.
Survivors Include his One Son - Brad L. Bloesser of Sparks, Nevada, Three Daughters - Debbie R. Linenberger of Hays, Kansas, Carrie M. Morman of Tribune, Kansas, Lori A. White of Salina, Kansas, Three Brothers - Jay D. Bloesser of Ulysses, Kansas, Donley B. Bloesser of Seiverville, Tennessee, Orville L. Bloesser of Canon City, Colorado, Two Sisters - Janice L. Lathrop of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Beverly K. Stewart of Canon City, Colorado and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and One Nephew – Randy Bloesser.
Memorial Services will be held at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2010 with Rev. Mark Randolph presiding.
Inurnment will be in the Howard Cemetery in Howard, Colorado at a later date.
Memorial may be given to the Greeley County Hospital or American Cancer Society in care of Price & Sons Funeral Homes.
There will be no visitation times.
