Just heard from my mom. Lori is better today. She is still on oxygen and a catheter. The kidney doctor is now allowing Lori to drink water. She has not been allowed to eat or drink since Tuesday. He has now told her that his testing is concluded and that kidney surgery does not need to be done now. Praise the Lord!!! He turned her case over to a family physician at KU Med Center.
Lori will remain in the hospital until more questions have been answered. Her PIK line will remain installed.
