It is now 9:30 p.m. I just tried to call Lori but discovered that Lori is in too much pain to talk to anyone right now. For some reason, they have not installed her PIC line (Central IV line) yet. When they tried to start a regular IV just recently, they were unable to find her blood veins. Her pain is just awful so they are attempting to give her some pain pills. Sometime tonight, they should have the PIC installed and going.
The doctor came in tonight with news about her kidney cyst. He does not believe it is the source of her pain. So, they just have to do this test and then that test until they learn what the problem is and how to fix it. The doctor told all of them just as Kathy Bangerter, Lori's PA in Tribune said, this is not a problem that will be fixed in two or three days. It could be a lengthy recovery.
I simply cannot tell you how much my Lori needs your prayers! This is an absolutely terrifying situation for her and all of us.
