For many years, the Wichita County Fire Department has thrilled the young and old of Wichita County with the annual display that they always provide. Last night, people gathered from far and wide to experience the fireworks. None of us should have had any reason to walk away disappointed with what they saw.
My family and I would love to thank all of the volunteers from our fire and EMS dept for what they did! My brudder-in-law is one of those people who helps with the display year after year. These people leave their own family gatherings to do all of this for us. Thank you!!!
Without this display, many children would go without this thrill. Either their parents cannot afford the fireworks or simply don't want to spend the money to purchase them. Our firework display is sooo superb that people just have to go out in their yards and watch towards the south of town. It doesn't cost us anything.
