Basketball Games Information

We now have the information for the upcoming basketball games for the Wichita County Indians as they continue on their trek to State hopefully.

As you already know, both varsity teams won their games on both, Monday and Tuesday. They were held here in Leoti. The boys won by 23 points. The girls won by 30 points.

The boys team will be playing against Ness City tomorrow, Thursday, at 6:00 in Oberlin. If they win that game, they will be playing in Oberlin on Saturday. I'll post that time later.

The girls team will be playing against Hill City on Friday, in Oberlin. That game is also scheduled for 6:00. If they win that ballgame, they will be playing in Oberlin on Saturday. Again, I will post that time later.

In order for our teams to go to the State Tournament, they must win both of the games ahead of them. Once they win all of their games in Oberlin, they will be headed for Manhattan next week to play for the State title. Again, that tournament is scheduled for Wednesday through Saturday, March 9th through the 12th.

I believe that both of our teams have excellent chances of going all of the way this year!
