As you know, we had been having major problems with our internet for quite sometime. That came to an end on Wednesday when the modem was replaced with a new one. That was GREAT!!! We felt connected to the rest of the world again! LOL!!!
But yesterday afternoon, I attempted to fax some paperwork to my supervisor with the credit bureau. Over and over, the machine "told me" that the machine needed to be hooked up to the telephone line. Over and over, we pulled out the line and re-inserted it into the proper receptacle. Still, the machine continued to say that it was not connected. When Stan arrived at home, he tackled the problem at hand. He had no better luck than I had had. So the paperwork STILL has not been faxed! Ugghh...
So, if that was not frustrating enough, when Stan tried to call us this morning, no one answered the landline phone. He then called my cellphone. I answered that phone. It was at that point that I discovered that NONE of our phone lines are working!!! Of course, I plan on calling the phone company to come and see what is wrong. Given the fact that this is Saturday, I don't know if we will be able to get it fixed or not.
