Haitian Adoption

The 7,0 and 6.3 earthquakes that have devastated Haiti have left MANY children as orphans. We, as Americans, can build our own families by contacting various agencies here who can arrange for adoption of these children.

I have taken the opportunity to list three such adoption agencies and have also listed websites where we can go to get much more information on this topic, etc.

HIV is prevalent in Haiti. The approved agencies will make certain that the adoptable children are tested to make sure that they do NOT have HIV, VDRL, Sickle Cell or Tuberculosis. I am ASSUMING that there may be some government money available to help with the adoptions and possibly moneys to help raise the child.

There is also a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week website where you can watch live TV from Haiti. go to www.HaitiLiveNetworks.com

Currently, there is one Wichita County family whom I know are seriously considering adopting a child from Haiti.
