Ryan Donald Haxton--Scott City

Ryan Donald Haxton was born on December 28th, 1983 in Kinsley and passed away on January 12th, 2010 at his Kinsley home. He was 26.

Ryan attended Kinsley schools through the fifth grade. He attended 6th grade in Scott City. He then transferred to The Kansas State School For the Blind in Kansas City for the next five years. He returned to Scott City and graduated from there in 2002.

Ryan grew up in the newspaper business including The Kinsley Mercury and later became the district manager for The Scott County Record. He was also the owner-operator of the Ry-Dogg Entertainment DJ Service for eleven years.

His parents are Rox Haxton and Kathy Jasnoch of Scott City and Tim and Marsha Bagby. Local grandparents are Don and Boots Haxton of Scott City. He is also survived by one stepbrother and 2 stepsisters. His, brother, Tyler, preceded him in death.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Friday, January 15th, at Beckwith Mortuary in Larned, Ks. Buriel will be held at Wayne Cemetery in Lewis.
