Butterscotch Bars

This is one of those cakes that require no frosting. The cake makes it's own!!!

1 3 1/4 ounce package of regular butterscotch pudding that requires cooking

1 package Butter Brickle cake mix

1 cup butterscotch chips

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)


Cook the pudding with milk according to the package's directions. Sir the cake mix into the prepared pudding. Mix well.

Pour into greased 9" x 13" or 10" x 15" baking dish. Scatter chips over this. Scatter nuts on top too if you are going to use them.

Bake for 25 minutes. Once cooled, cut into bars.
