Neat Thanksgiving Tradition

Stan just called me and told me about a great Thanksgiving tradition that he just heard about on the radio. We will be starting it tomorrow!

For this, you will need a good used or a new solid colored tablecloth in a light or medium color that fits your dining room table. It needs to be made out of cloth. You will also need at least one permanent magic marker in black or other colors. Having the kind with the fine tip works best for this!

Once your guests arrive for Thanksgiving, ask them to go into the dining room or kitchen, and write what they are thankful for this year, have them post what year it is with their message. Make sure that everyone who is sharing the day with you writes their comment.

If your family is like ours, you will need to wash it after the meal. Save it for the next years. Place it back on your holiday table and again, have all guests sign it. As time goes by and your loved ones pass away, have the guests who are still here, write a new message about what they were thankful for about that particular person in addition to what they are thankful for that year.

This will definitely become a much-treasured family heirloom that will need to be passed down to future generations!

I just thought that you, too, might be interested in starting this tradition with your own family...

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
