Justin Lee Lobmeyer, age 26, died Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital in Denver, Colorado. He was born November 3, 1984 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Donald L. and Christina Stegman Lobmeyer A longtime resident of Garden City he had worked various jobs with the most recent being a restaurant cook.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Garden City, Kansas.
Survivors include: One Daughter, Madison McIntyre-Lobmeyer of Wichita, Kansas; Father, Don Lobmeyer of Garden City, Kansas; Mother, Christina Ladd of Garden City, Kansas; Grandmother, Agnes Stegman of Garden City, Kansas; Five Brothers, Don Lobmeyer Jr. of Wichita, Kansas, Charles Lobmeyer of Garland, Texas, James Miller of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Jonathan Lobmeyer of Seward, Nebraska and Jason Lobmeyer of Durango, Colorado; One Sister, Jacque Sowers of Holcomb, Kansas and Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Savannah McIntyre-Lobmeyer.
Vigil and Rosary services will be held at 6:00pm on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 2:30pm on Monday, November 29, 2010 at the St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Matthew Kumi presiding.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00pm on Sunday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
The family requests that memorials be given to the Madison McIntyre-Lobmeyer Education Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
